Shipping options

Items out of Stock.

Please note that when an item is out of stock you are still able to order it online. The item will be placed on backorder and shipped to you as soon as it arrives. We aim to have items in stock within 7 - 10 working days of them selling out, however in some cases items may take longer to arrive. If you require something urgently please contact us as we may be able to arrange a priority order for you.

If you order an out of stock item with other items, please note that additional postage will be charged to send you the remaining book(s) from your order. If you wish to have your order posted at the same time, please notify us otherwise additonal postage charges will apply.



We post AUSTRALIA WIDE and OVERSEAS, however please contact us for a postage quote for overseas orders.

Please note that your items will be sent by either Australia Post for regular orders or a Courier if the order is large. Please note that due to new regulations Australia Post will no longer LEAVE parcels to homes that are unattended unless you have made arrangements . You will have to collect your parcel from the local post office. If you are not going to be home you are able to have your item shipped to alternate address such as work or a family member. This option is available during checkout simply change the 'shipping' address to either a PO Box, work address or another suitable address if you are unable to collect your parcels.

Over $250 Free

*We review our shipping costs twice a year and will notify customers of any changes via email and on our website.

All prices include GST. Parcels usually arrive within 2 - 7 working days after shipping.


Orders are shipped within 24 - 48 hours of you placing an order (this time frame will depend on when you place an order) for example, you place an order at 9am, it will usually be shipped on the same day, if you place an order at 4pm it will generally be shipped the next day. Items that are placed on back order are shipped as soon as they come back into stock.

Adelaide: 5 - 6 days

Perth: 5 - 7 days

Darwin: 5 - 7 days

Orders going to outside the metropolitan areas listed may take longer consult Australia Post with your specific postcode to get more details. If you require an order urgently please contact us regarding next day express post options.



Currently we accept two methods of payment for online shopping. Invoice, and PayPal. All of these options allow you to pay with credit card, however PayPal is instant and you are taken to  PayPal  website to complete your transaction in a secure environment. You do not need to sign up with PayPal to use this method. With an invoice we will post out the books and a Tax Invoice and then you can make payment, although you are able to print out your order and pay with EFT, Credit Card or by cheque. The following steps will guide you through our payment system.

Please note the following steps must be followed for PayPal to work successfully.
1. Select "Submit Order & Pay with PayPal (we receive your order immediately)" - We have received your order, even if you don't pay
2. Enter your PayPal account details and follow prompts.

If you DON'T have a PayPal Account follow these steps.

1. on the left hand side of the screen there is a "continue" button - this is small and can be overlooked - you don't need a paypal account to pay.
2. Enter your details and follow the prompts
3. Finish transaction



Should you wish NOT to pay with PayPal  we are always happy to invoice you.
1. Select "Invoice"  this submits your order for processing - We have now received your order
2. Print out your order

You are now able to pay by the following ways
Option 1. Bank account details are now visable - you can pay with direct deposit
Option 2. Email/Ring with your credit card payments (we prefer a phone call as emails can go astray, if you wish to email we suggest sending 2 emails with half the details in each email).
Option 3. Wait until your items arrive and then pay by one of the above methods.

What is our return policy?

Resources at Hand accepts that the will be times where a product does not perform as expected due to a manufacturing default. Resources at Hand reserves the right to accept returns provided the following conditions can be met;

  • You have a copy of your invoice or proof of purchase
  • You return the item within 14 days of purchase
  • The product and packaging are in original and re-saleable condition
  • The product was not a clearance item

Should you meet these condition we will exchange you product for another of the same description or value, or provide you with a refund via the method of payment that was used to make your purchase.

Please choose carefully as Resources At Hand is under no obligation to provide refunds where you have changed your mind or made the wrong selection.

Any associated postage costs for returned items are the responsibility of the customer, with items packed appropriately.

What if my order is damaged when it arrives?

If your order arrives damaged please contact us with 48 hours of accepting delivery. We may ask for images to help investigate the damages caused.
